THE SOCIAL NETWORK

Let's start with my favourite film of last year.
I know I mentioned that I would be doing reviews of films coming out this year.
I thought it would be good practise to start the blog by writing about a few films that really caught my eye in 2011. And one of those would be the impressive SOCIAL NETWORK.

Directed by David Fincher and written by Aaron Sorkin. It stars Jessie Eisenberg as the facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and his roots into the social network empire. It shows a very interactive outlook on his not so many friends and ever growing enemies on campus from where the idea was first sprung up. It delves deeply into the relationships of these characters that inhibit Mark Zuckerberg's life and the effects the social network site has on these people.

It is very very well directed in my view, with an impressive cast and amazingly well scripted scenes. The beginning itself is a very crafted piece of dialogue between Mark and his then girlfriend. The quick cross cutting.....

Introduction to my reviews.

Movies, Movies, Movies...or as the more educated say: Films, Films, Films.
They are constantly being made and are never hard to find. With every year comes good films and bad films.
In this blog, I will hopefully be able to give a view of my own personal reflection of the films I get to see this year. Some may be good, while other may be not so good. I aim to give each film review a subjective and purely individual outlook based on my perception of the film. Be it the way it is directed, the story of the films, the way characters are acted and also the look and feel (and sound) of the film.

And so with this brief and uninteresting introduction, I hope you can follow me in my wonderful journey of film exploration....

Welcome to my blog.
